SICO MEMBRANE

SICO MEMBRANE is single component premium elastomeric membrane waterproof coating system for direct application. It is suitable for application on flat roofs, terraces, metal roofs, etc. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray equipment depending on site conditions. Applied in thick layer, it forms a waterproof, flexible film which adapts to the surface changes cause by tension or expansion.

Application Instructions

  • Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, oil, loose particles, and laitance
  • Repair cracks, honeycombs, and weak areas using suitable repair mortar
  • Apply a single coat of SICO SBR as base primer
  • Apply second coat of SICO SBR if substrate porosity is high
  • Apply first coat of SICO MEMBRANE without dilution in one direction; air cure 6–7 hours
  • Apply second coat perpendicular to the first; can use brush, roller, or spray
  • Allow proper curing before exposure to water or further finishes

  • Shelf Life: 12 months from the manufacturing date when the product stored in its original, undamaged packaging and in dry conditions
  • Coverage: Approx. 12 – 15 sq. ft. per Kg. in 2 coats, subject to the porosity of the substrate
